Hamza Saeed of Pakistan clinched the gold medal in the 33rd Fajr Open Taekwondo Championship held in Tehran.
Representing the Pakistan Army, Hamza Saeed secured the gold medal by defeating Iran’s Mohammad Ibrahim Hosseini with impressive scores of 9-1 and 14-3 in the final of the 87-plus category.
Additionally, Shahzaib Khan earned the silver medal for Pakistan in the event. However, Shahzaib was defeated by an Iranian opponent in the final of the 54 category.
With these commendable performances, Pakistan secured the second position overall in the championship.
