PM Shehbaz Sharif has departed for the United Kingdom on a two-day visit before travelling to New York to attend the high-level segment of the 81st UN General Assembly. According to the Foreign Office, he will lead Pakistan's delegation and is scheduled to address the General Assembly on September 25, accompanied by Deputy PM/Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and senior officials.

Shehbaz is set to hold bilateral meetings with various heads of government on the sidelines of the session, where he'll present Pakistan's perspective on regional and global developments. The high-level debate runs from September 22-26.
