Pakistan win seven gold, and 11 silver medals at the South Asian Karate Championship

At the South Asian Karate Championship in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in 2022, Pakistani participants brought home more than twenty medals, including seven gold ones.

In the U-21 and senior divisions, Irshad Ali won two gold medals, while Pakistan also won the third gold by defeating an Indian player.

Humayun won the gold medal in the -60 category by defeating an Indian athlete, while Mah Gul won the gold in the -61 category.

When Mubarak Ali defeated an Indian competitor in the 84 kg category, Pakistan won their seventh gold medal overall.

Pakistan also took home 8 bronze medals and 11 silver medals.
