Pakistan welcomes diplomatic ties between Saudi Arabia, Iran

Pakistan has warmly welcomed the normalization of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran facilitated by the People’s Republic of China.

Pakistan fully believes that this significant diplomatic achievement would help peace and stability in the area and beyond, according to a statement from the Foreign Office (FO).

We commend the wise leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this extremely excellent development.

“Pakistan will continue to play a positive role in the Middle East and the region with a history of constantly supporting and coordinating efforts for mending gaps between the two benevolent nations. We anticipate that this constructive move will provide a model for peace and harmony in the area.
