Pakistan IT Services Export reach $635M in Q1 of FY22

Pakistan IT Services Export reach $635M in Q1 of FY22

Pakistan IT Services Export has generated a total of $635.010 million through various countries during the July-September of the ongoing financial year 2021-22.

This IT Services exports is seeing a rise in Pakistan as all the freelancing companies and Individuals are under the tax bracket of the government. Freelancing has seen a rise in Pakistan, especially after Covid-19 Breakout in the world.

According to the data released by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics:

The fiscal year 2022 has recorded a growth of 43% in Pakistan IT Services Export as compared to $445.080 million earning through IT services export during the July-September period of the fiscal year 2021. The Computer Services Export grew by 41% during July-September (2021-22), as it increased from $348.400 million recorded in the last fiscal year to $490.890 million this year. Among the computer services exports, Software Consultancy Services Export grew by 53%, from $115.534 million to $176.534 million. While the Hardware Consultancy Services Exports grew by 506% from, $0.138 million to $0.837 million. The Computer Software-Related Services Export and Import also recorded a growth of 42%, from $87.575 million to $124.702 million. Whereas the Repair And Maintenance Services Exports grew to $0.345 million from $0.145 million.

Additionally Pakistan Bureau of Statistics also showed in their date that:

Other Computer Services Exports grew by 30%, from $145.008 million to $188.560 million. Meanwhile, the Information Services Export during the period under review grew by 76% – from $0.760 million to $1.340 million. Talking about the Telecommunication Services Exports, the Call Center Services Export grew by 39% during the first quarter of FY22 – from $31.751 million in the Q1 of FY21 to $44.026 million. Whereas, Other Telecommunication Services Export grew by 54%, from $64.169 million in the Q1 of FY21 to $98.754 million during the Q1 of FY22.
