In the latest revelation from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, it has been confirmed that the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will boast Apple's advanced tetraprism Telephoto lens, featuring an impressive 5x optical zoom.

The absence of this technology in the iPhone 15 Pro was attributed to space constraints and production challenges. However, the iPhone 16 Pro series is set to overcome these limitations and bring forth the coveted tetraprism lens.

To accommodate the enhanced camera hardware, the new iPhones will sport a larger screen size, measuring 6.3 inches. This expansion provides the necessary space for the incorporation of the advanced camera technology.

A significant breakthrough comes with the improvement in the production yield of the tetraprism lens, soaring from 40% in 2023 to an impressive 70% or higher.
