General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), stated on Saturday that India will never succeed in its nefarious designs and any misadventure would be responded to befittingly.

According to the military’s media wing, the recently appointed army chief made these remarks when meeting with frontline soldiers in the LOC’s Rakhchikri Sector today.

The most recent state of affairs along the LoC and the formation’s operational readiness were explained to the COAS.

The army chief commended the officers and soldiers for their high morale, skillfulness, and battle readiness while carrying out their tasks under trying circumstances.

Gen. Asim claimed that they had recently observed extremely careless statements from Indian leadership towards Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

“Let me make it categorically clear, Pakistan’s armed forces are ever-ready, not only to defend every inch of our motherland but also to take the fight back to the enemy, if ever, war is imposed on us,” the COAS emphasized.

Any misunderstanding that leads to a misadventure, according to him, will always be met with the full force of the armed forces, supported by a strong nation.

“The Indian state will never be able to carry out her evil plans. According to UN resolutions, the international community must provide justice and fulfill its promises to the Kashmiri people.

The corps commander in Rawalpindi, Lieutenant General Shahid Imtiaz, welcomed the army chief earlier.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa handed Gen Asim Munir the reins of command on Tuesday during a ceremony at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

Gen Bajwa handed the reins over to Gen Munir, who subsequently became the 17th army head of the Pakistani Army.
