India Leads ICC ODI Rankings as Pakistan & Australia Battle for Second Spot

February 12, 2025 – The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest Men’s One Day International (ODI) rankings, with India maintaining its stronghold at the top. With a rating of 119, India leads the rankings with 5,726 points from 48 matches.

Meanwhile, Pakistan and Australia are locked in an intense battle for second place, both securing a rating of 111. Australia currently holds the No. 2 spot with 4,778 points from 43 matches, narrowly edging out Pakistan, which has accumulated 4,220 points from 38 matches.

Top 10 ODI Teams:

1️⃣ India – 119 rating points (5,726 points, 48 matches)
2️⃣ Australia – 111 rating points (4,778 points, 43 matches)
3️⃣ Pakistan – 111 rating points (4,220 points, 38 matches)
4️⃣ New Zealand – 102 rating points
5️⃣ South Africa – 99 rating points
6️⃣ Sri Lanka – 98 rating points
7️⃣ England – 92 rating points
8️⃣ Afghanistan – 86 rating points
9️⃣ Bangladesh – 81 rating points
🔟 West Indies – 78 rating points

Other Rankings:

  • Ireland (52) is placed at 11th, just ahead of Scotland (51) and Zimbabwe (51).
  • Netherlands (42), Canada (33), and the USA (31) occupy the next three positions.
  • Oman (30), Nepal (26), and Namibia (26) follow.
  • UAE sits at the bottom in 20th place with just 10 rating points.

Upcoming Battles for Rankings Supremacy

With the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 just around the corner, the competition for top rankings is expected to intensify. Both Pakistan and Australia will look to capitalize on their strong form to challenge India’s reign, while teams like South Africa, England, and Sri Lanka aim for a comeback in the rankings.
