Incarcerated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has officially approved the names for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) cabinet, following the election of Ali Amin Gandapur as the Chief Minister of the province after securing 90 votes, as per sources informed Geo News on Tuesday.

The decision was made during a meeting between Gandapur and Khan at the Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, the sources added.

Here is the list of KP cabinet members:

Riaz Khan

Speaking to journalists after the meeting with the former prime minister in jail, Gandapur mentioned that Imran Khan will decide on the reconciliation with the establishment.

Gandapur emphasized that both the establishment and institutions “are ours,” but the final decision regarding reconciliation with the establishment will be made by Khan, the only prime minister to be ousted through a no-confidence motion.

Maintaining a firm stance towards the government of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the PTI leader stated that the current government at the Centre had allegedly stolen his party’s mandate.

“We will not reconcile with mandate thieves. We will create such a system that no one can steal the mandate in the future,” Gandapur asserted.

The KP Chief Minister also highlighted that the provincial government would uphold a working relationship with the federal government going forward.

“The federal government has stolen our mandate, and we will not compromise with vote thieves,” he alleged.
