Govt to provide around 537,070 new gas connections in FY 2022-23

The government has unveiled a plan to provide approximately 537,070 new gas connections to domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors across the country during the current fiscal year. This initiative is anticipated to bolster economic growth and development nationwide.

The two state-owned gas companies, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited, are expecting to add 403,050 and 134,020 new consumers to their networks, respectively.
