The government is taking measures to make small airports of the country functional.
Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan informed the Senate today.
Answering a question, State Minister Ali Muhammad Khan said:
“Commercial traffic stood jammed at various national airports as the commercial airlines are unavailable.”
He assured that the government will not discriminate among provinces in starting domestic flight operations. He said the government will decide the commercial availability of routes.
The House also offered Fateha for the soldiers martyred in a terrorist attack at the outset of the session. It happened on a security forces check post in Balochistan’s Kech district.
The fateha prayer was led by Senator Mushtaq Ahmad.
