The present government has always been committed to protecting the poorest from the effects of difficult economic conditions.

This was evident when Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz announced that free electricity would be provided to households using up to one hundred units per month.

The Prime Minister's tweet on Tuesday reaffirmed this commitment and expressed the desire to provide more facilities to the people as the economic situation improves.
