Former Punjab minister Ali Afzal Sahi was apprehended outside Islamabad’s Judicial Complex on Tuesday.
The former Punjab minister appeared before the ATC to request interim bail in the case filed against him at the Golra police station.
Ali Afzal Sahi’s counsel stated that his client appeared before ATC Judge Raja Jawad Abbas seeking an extension of interim bail.
When my client left the Judicial Complex after receiving a temporary bail extension till July 3, the police apprehended him, according to Barrister Qasim Ali.
According to sources familiar with the situation, the former Punjab minister has been arrested in two distinct cases.
