11:00 Ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan likely to discharge from the hospital in the next 24 hours

Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and a former prime minister, is likely to be released from Shaukat Khanum Hospital in 24 hours.

According to information, the PTI chairman is still in Shaukat Khanum Hospital, although his condition has significantly improved. The former prime minister will have X-rays, tests, and a full checkup today (Saturday)

Khan is currently being treated for his injuries while he is a patient at the Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore. A lone shooter who has now been apprehended by police shot the PTI chairman in the leg.

6:30 PTI Leadership decides to continue countrywide protests until demands are met

The leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) determined in their meeting on Friday to continue their aggressive tactics until their demands to file an FIR against the three individuals they listed and others were satisfied.

The Inspector General’s transfer has also been urged by the party leadership (IG).

According to details, the PTI leadership held a session under Chairman Imran Khan, deciding to maintain the offensive strategy of country-wide protest until their demands are not met.

Seemabia Tahir, a provincial lawmaker for the PTI, submitted a motion Friday in the Punjab Assembly condemning the cowardly attack on Imran Khan’s life in Wazirabad. 2:15 CTD to investigate the attack on Imran Khan

The Counter-Terrorism Department has taken over the investigation into the attack on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan (CTD).

suspect Naveed, who was arrested at the crime scene after the attack, was also transferred to Lahore for further probe.

The suspect was reportedly questioned by CTD officers and intelligence agencies while he was in a CTD cell.

Following the attack on party chief Imran Khan in Wazirabad, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has called for nationwide protests to take place after Friday prayers.

Asad Umar announced on Twitter that PTI would organize nationwide protests following Friday prayers, saying that the actions would continue until Imran Khan’s demands were satisfied.

5:26 PM: Former PM Imran Khan Wounded in Leg

Hammad Azhar, a senior Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf leader clarifies that party member Ahmed Chattha is out of danger. He wrote on his twitter, “I am with Ahmed Chattha,” “He is out of danger. He has 2 gunshot wounds, one in each thigh. The wounds are not deep and he is being operated upon to remove the bullets.”.

4:31 PM: Former PM Imran Khan Wounded in Leg

Party Official, Asad Umar told the reporters that, “He is being taken to a hospital in Lahore, but he is not seriously wounded. A bullet hit him in the leg,” Later, Imran Khan was seen with a bandage around his right leg, near the shin, while he was being moved to another vehicle from his container. It was announced that Imran Khan was safe.

4:00 PM: Former PM Imran Khan Shot & Wounded During Long March

Imran Khan, a former prime minister of Pakistan, was shot and injured in what appears to have been an assassination attempt while participating in a protest march in the city of Lahore. Four more people were injured on Thursday, according to members of his PTI party, but no one was killed.

It was unclear whether he had been hit in the foot or leg, but an aide said he was not in danger. “Imran Khan is being shifted to Lahore for medical treatment,” said Asad Umar, adding that other PTI leaders including Senator Faisal Javed, former Sindh governor Imran Ismail, Ahmed Chatta, and Umar Dar were also injured as a result of firing during PTI long march.

Mr. Khan, 70, was in charge of the march on Islamabad, the country’s capital, to seek early elections. The AFP news agency was informed by a senior aide that “this was an effort to kill him, to assassinate him.”
