European companies are increasingly expressing interest in investing in Pakistan’s IT sector, thanks to the effective strategy of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

Startups that have graduated from the National Incubation Centers, established under the SIFC, are attracting foreign IT companies to invest in Pakistan.

One such example is a European software company planning to establish a data center in Karachi. This move signals growing confidence in Pakistan’s IT sector, driven by the relentless efforts of the SIFC and the strong networking of National Incubation Centers.

According to the US web portal Microsoft Network, foreign companies are increasingly considering Pakistan for investment, drawn by its growing capacity, trained youth, and emerging opportunities.

Czech Republic’s software company, IceWarp, is among those planning to establish a data center in Karachi in partnership with Pakistan’s software company Hexalyze.

Jan Urbik, IceWarp’s Global Chief Sales, highlighted Pakistan’s high potential for digital transformation in both government and private sector organizations. He expressed commitment to supporting Pakistan’s IT mission by offering affordable solutions.

IceWrap’s investment is expected to provide significant cost savings, offering up to 60 percent off software and cybersecurity services to various industries, financial institutions, small and medium enterprises, and startups.
