Elon Musk zoomed past Bill Gates on Monday after the share price of Tesla saw another surge. The almost 50-year-old Elon Musk’s net worth rose approximately $7.2 Billion to take his total net worth around $127.9 Billion, making him the second richest person in the World.
Although the world was hit by COVID-19, the entrepreneur added more than $100 Billion to his net worth this year. Ranking in the list at 35th at the start of the year and now he is at the second number in just one year is exceptionally motivational for others.
According to Fortune, almost about 3 Quarters of his total net worth is based upon Tesla shares, which is around four times more than his stake in SpaceX or Space Exploration Technologies. The only person richer than Elon Musk at the moment is the Amazon Premier Jeff Bezos.
