The Economic Coordination Committee of the cabinet (ECC) has approved technical supplementary grants of Rs.20.2 billion for Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Program and flood-effected farmers.
Finance minister Ishaq Dar virtually presided over the meeting and gave approval for the grant.
Rs.17 billion technical supplementary grant approved by the ECC, will be utilized for financing the urban and rural infrastructure and social development schemes in the deprived areas of the country.
While, 3.2 billion rupees approved for Ministry of National Food Security and Research will be used for supporting the flood affected farmers.
