The Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet on a proposal submitted by Ministry of Energy on supply of gas to localities and villages in 5 kilometer radius of Gas producing fields, has approved Supplementary Grant amounting to 747.539 million rupees in favour of Petroleum Division.
The meeting of the committee was held in Islamabad on Friday with Minister for Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin in the chair.
The approved amount will be further released to SSGCL to undertake 85 villages and localities in current fiscal year.
