Balochistan Police announces new job openings for Constable and Lady Constable positions across eight districts, with applications open until October 10, 2026.
Balochistan Police has announced new job openings for Constable and Lady Constable positions. This provides employment opportunities for eligible candidates across several districts in the province. The police department has invited applications from individuals who meet the required qualifications. This marks the start of a recruitment process aimed at strengthening the province's law enforcement workforce.
Recruitment drives like this help maintain adequate staffing levels in police departments. They ensure law enforcement agencies have enough personnel to carry out their duties effectively.
Understanding the Position Being Offered
According to the official announcement, selected candidates will be recruited for the position of Constable General, under Basic Pay Scale 7 (BPS-07). This is an entry-level position within the government's civil service structure, making it accessible for those seeking a career in law enforcement.
Open to Both Male and Female Applicants
This recruitment drive is inclusive, allowing both male and female candidates to apply. Applicants must meet specific educational, physical, age, and domicile requirements outlined in the recruitment advertisement. This inclusive approach ensures career opportunities in law enforcement are accessible to a wide range of qualified candidates.
Application Deadline and Eligible Districts
Applicants must ensure their applications reach the relevant District Police Office by 10 October 2026. This deadline gives prospective applicants time to prepare and submit their documentation.
The recruitment is open to candidates with valid local or domicile certificates from eight districts in Balochistan: Chagai, Kalat, Mastung, Qilla Abdullah, Ziarat, Kachhi, Usta Muhammad, and Noshki. Applicants must submit their forms to the district office corresponding to their domicile certificate, ensuring the process is organised according to regional eligibility.
Eligibility Requirements for Male Candidates
Male applicants must meet specific criteria. They need to have passed their Matriculation examination from a recognised board and be aged 18 to 28 years by the application closing date.
Physically, male candidates must be at least 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a chest measurement of 31 inches unexpanded and 32.5 inches expanded. They must complete a 1.6-kilometre run within seven minutes, demonstrating necessary physical fitness. No relaxation will be granted on the age limit for male candidates.
Eligibility Requirements for Lady Constables
Female candidates must also meet specific qualifications. They need at least a Matriculation qualification from a recognised board. The age range for female applicants is 18 to 30 years by the application deadline.
Physically, female candidates must be at least 5 feet tall and complete a one-kilometre run within seven minutes. No age relaxation will be provided for female candidates.
How to Apply for These Positions
Interested candidates can obtain the application form from their District Police Office or download it from the Balochistan Police website. This offers convenience for those unable to visit in person.
Applicants must attach supporting documents, including attested copies of educational certificates, a valid CNIC, a domicile certificate, and four passport-sized photographs. The completed application, with these documents, must be submitted to the appropriate District Police Office, with a non-refundable fee of Rs. 400.
Government sector employees must apply through the proper channel and include a No Objection Certificate from their department.
The Selection Process Explained
Eligible candidates will go through a multi-stage selection process. The first stage involves physical measurements and a timed running test to ensure candidates meet fitness standards.
Candidates who pass this stage will take written exams in English, Urdu, and general knowledge. This ensures candidates have the physical capability and foundational knowledge for police service.
Ensuring a Merit-Based and Fair Process
Appointments will be made based on merit, considering reserved quotas specified in the recruitment advertisement, in line with government policy. This balances merit-based selection with fairness and representation.
Successful candidates must pass a medical examination as part of the final selection. They may be sent outside their home districts for training or assigned to different units based on operational needs.
Important Details for Applicants
The department will not provide travel or daily allowances for tests or interviews. Incomplete applications or those received after 10 October 2026 will not be accepted.
Why This Opportunity Matters
This recruitment drive offers meaningful employment for young men and women in several Balochistan districts. It provides a structured pathway into government service through the police department. For many, especially from smaller districts, this offers stable, long-term career prospects.
Looking Ahead
As the deadline approaches, eligible candidates are encouraged to review requirements and ensure their applications are complete and on time. With clear criteria and a structured selection process, this initiative offers a valuable opportunity for those looking to build a career in law enforcement in Balochistan.
