Apple inc Became the world biggest smartphones seller as it shipments jumped 22 per cent to record levels in the fourth quarter, while those for Huawei Launched themselves as US penalty took effect.

Moreover, Apples’s first 5G-enabled devices, an expanded number of models and a new look for iPhone 12 lineup eventually led to a rise of demands of the phone especially in China. 

The data research firm IDC portrayed, that the global Market share of apple has become 23.4pc as the shipments hit 90.1 million phones. 

On Wednesday data comes on the heels of Apple reporting record holiday quarter sales, as the revenue passed $100 billion for the first time. 

Sales in Greater China reached to 57pc including Hong Kong and Taiwan. 

Moreover, Chief Executive Tim Cook mentioned to Reuters in an interview that “We had two of the top three selling smartphones in urban China,” he also added that upgraders in particular had set an all-time record in China.

Apple took the top spot from Samsung Electronics, As often the case in the fourth quarter Samsung electronic was unbeatable.

However Huawei technologies Co ltd, foreseeable suffered the most dreadful consequences as the shipments tumbling a record 42.4pc to 32.3 million.

In accordance to IDC China’s Xiaomi Corp, the number three seller, saw its shipments soar 32pc while shipments for fourth-ranked Oppo climbed 10.7pc.
