“A large number of Pakistanis are fed up with Indian movie and dramas. The survey says that 79% of Pakistanis have not watched a single Indian film in the last year.“
According to a survey conducted by Gallup Pakistan
The survey questioned adult men and women from all four provinces which Indian film or drama they watched during the year.
In response, 21% of them said that they have seen only one Indian film in a year while 79% said “No, I have not seen any Indian film or drama during the year”.
This means that nearly 4 in 5 Pakistanis say that they have not watched any Indian movies in the past year. Nearly 4 in 5 Pakistanis say that they have not watched any Indian movies in the past year.
According to the survey, 23% of males admitted to watching Indian films in the last year as compared to 15% of females.These movie lovers prefer the content in different languages especially Korean other than Indian which has lost the essence of storytelling.
