74th shahadat anniversary of Naik Saif Ali, Nishan-e-Haider observed

On Wednesday, Naik Saif Ali, Nishan-e-Haider, celebrated his 74th shahadat anniversary.

At the gravesite of Naik Saif Ali Janjua Shaheed, General Officer Commanding Major General Muhammad Irfan Khan laid a wreath of flowers.

Guard of honor was offered by a Pakistani Army detachment that was well-dressed.

The wreath-laying event was attended by people from all walks of life, government and military leaders, and Shuhada's family members.

In 1948, Naik Saif Ali bravely defended the vital Pir Kaleva Ridge against repeated attacks.

He ensured the defense of the nation while inspiring his warriors to battle to the bitter end.

On October 26, 1948, he decided to become a martyr.
