Will Babar Azam Stay as Captain, PCB Chairman Mohsin Khan addressed speculation surrounding Babar Azam’s captaincy, stating that no discussions have been held yet regarding his continuation as captain.
Speaking to journalists in Lahore, Mohsin Khan revealed that a recent meeting focused on domestic cricket and enhancing its structure, with players emphasizing the importance of strict fitness standards. “The players have stressed improving the domestic cricket structure,” said the PCB Chairman, adding that the discussion was centered on developing domestic cricket, with a strong focus on fitness.
Khan also mentioned that no meetings have been held with the coaches yet. However, the second session of their meeting with PCB’s head coach Waqar Younis and assistant coach Azhar Mahmood is scheduled for today.
