Here’s an easy way to register local and imported mobile devices for free with the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) without paying any service fees.
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has issued a video instruction for free online mobile device registration; nevertheless, customers must pay Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) taxes.
The authorities provides an online registration link for mobile devices https://dirbs.pta.gov.pk/
Users can register their mobile devices by dialing *8484# and following the onscreen instructions.
Furthermore, the government advised consumers to visit the cell operators’ facilitation centers if they were unable to finish the online registration process, which would cost them only Rs100 in service costs.
