Textile Exports observes 9.06% Growth to $11.355 Billion

According to stats shared by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics PBS, the textile group exports of Pakistan have recently witnessed a growth of 9.06% during the months from July-March of 2020-21 and remained at $11.355 billion compared to $10.412 billion during the same period last year.
The data related to imports and exports by PBS has revealed that exports of textile groups have witnessed an increase of 9.85% in the month of March 2021 as it stands at a value of $1.355 billion compared to the value of $1.234 billion recorded during the month of February in 2021.
The data has been registered by the Textile group exports at a growth rate of 30.38% on a y-o-y basis as it reached $1.355 billion in March 2021 as compared to the value recorded $1.039 billion in March 2020. The trade deficit of the country has also widened by 20.08% to $20.83 billion during the months of July-March of 2020-2021.
