T20 World Cup to feature DRS for the first time, confirms ICC

The upcoming Men’s T20 World Cup will be the first to feature the Decision Review System (DRS), confirmed the International Cricket Council (ICC) Sunday.

The ICC has decided to continue with the rules of T20 international cricket and provide each team with two reviews per innings.

The coronavirus pandemic and its resulting travel restrictions had made it difficult for authorities to ensure the presence of neutral umpires across all formats of cricket.
