T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule revealed

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is set to take place across three venues in the USA and six in the Caribbean, as revealed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) when announcing the groups and fixtures for the tournament’s ninth edition.

In the USA, ten out of the 20 participating teams will kick off their campaign with 16 matches scheduled to be held in Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York. One of the most anticipated clashes, the blockbuster encounter between India and Pakistan, is slated to take place at the newly established Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Long Island on June 9.

The 29-day tournament promises an exciting showcase of T20 cricket, with a mix of venues in both the USA and the Caribbean providing a dynamic backdrop for the participating teams.

A total of 41 matches are slated to unfold in the Caribbean, spread across six different islands. The semi-finals are designated to take place in Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana, culminating in the title decider set for Barbados on June 29.

The kickoff for the T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled for June 1, with co-hosts USA engaging in a highly anticipated clash against arch-rival Canada. Meanwhile, fellow hosts, the West Indies, are set to face Papua New Guinea in Guyana on the second day of group play.

The tournament features four groups, each comprising five teams. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Six phase, leading to the knockout semi-finals and the grand final.

In Group A, co-hosts USA will compete against arch-rivals India and Pakistan, alongside Canada, making their debut at the event, and the European side Ireland.

Group B boasts the last two champions of the Men’s T20 World Cup, England and Australia, who will face Namibia, Scotland, and Oman.

Group C includes the West Indies, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea. Group D sees South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, and Nepal going head-to-head in the group stage fixtures.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is set to feature an exciting schedule across multiple venues. Here’s the full rundown of the tournament’s fixtures:
