The Sindh Softball Association on Thursday officially announced the provincial women’s squad for the Essa Lab 15th National Women’s Softball Championship, scheduled to be held in Karachi from December 2 to 4 at the KMC Sports Complex Football Ground on Kashmir Road.
Mercline Perwaiz has been named as team captain, with Kainat Khan serving as vice-captain. The squad’s management includes Faraz Ejaz as the head coach and Naheed Liaquat as the team manager.

Dr. Farhan Essa Abdullah, President of the Sindh Softball Association, highlighted the importance of the championship, saying it provides a valuable platform for women athletes to demonstrate their talent and competitive spirit. “This championship is a golden opportunity for women athletes of Sindh to showcase their skills and represent the province with pride,” he remarked.
The three-day tournament will feature top women’s softball teams from across Pakistan competing in Karachi, aiming to foster competitive sports and highlight women’s participation in softball at the national level.
