Following Pakistan's win over New Zealand, a spat happened between Shoaib Akhtar and anchor Dr Nauman Niaz on PTV Sports and Shoaib Akhtar leaves PTV because of that.

Shoaib Akhtar was analysing the match and the Pakistan cricket team in such a way that it can be feel like he was know-it-all. And it felt like he was showing off, and purposedly made Dr. Nauman Ijaz feel bad. Although maybe Shoaib Akhtar did not mean it like that, but I can say for certain that Dr. Nauman Ijaz felt like this.

PTV administration took notice of the incident and formed a committee to probe the incident, according to a statement posted on its sports channel's official Twitter account.

The statement said the first session of the committee will be held on Wednesday (today) and probe the situation that occurred between Niaz and Akhtar.
