Saudi Arabia has implemented a new requirement where Pakistani visa applicants can now submit a bank statement demonstrating a minimum monthly credit amount of $750 or its equivalent, replacing the previous criteria.
In 2023, Pakistani tourist arrivals to Saudi Arabia surged by 43% compared to the previous year, reflecting a robust increase in visitor numbers. To meet this rising demand, Saudi Arabia has strategically established six Tasheer offices across Pakistan. These offices are designed to facilitate a streamlined and user-friendly visa application process for Pakistani travelers.
Looking ahead to 2024, Saudi Arabia aims to host approximately 2.7 million Pakistani visitors. In line with this goal, the Kingdom has introduced a transit visa option.
