Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Takes Oath as Speaker of the National Assembly
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq took the oath as the Speaker of the National Assembly, administered by outgoing Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf.
Securing 199 votes, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emerged victorious in the election for the National Assembly's top office.
The candidate from the Sunni Ittehad Council, Malik Muhammad Amir Dogar, received 91 votes.
