LAHORE: Pakistan’s slow left-arm orthodox spinner Sadia Iqbal has dropped to third place in the latest ICC Women’s T20 International bowling rankings. She now shares the position with India’s Deepti Sharma, with both holding 732 points.
Australia’s Annabel Sutherland leads the rankings with 736 points, matching her career-best set earlier this year against New Zealand. Sadia’s own career-best rating of 758 was achieved earlier in 2025 against Sri Lanka in Sharjah. Despite losing her number one position, Sadia remains one of Pakistan’s most consistent performers and has been rewarded with a Category ‘A’ central contract for the 2025–2026 season by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Pakistan’s Nashra Sandhu also features in the top ten, ranking ninth with 700 points.
Other notable rankings include England’s Sophie Ecclestone at fourth with 727 points, followed by Lauren Bell (714), Australia’s Georgia Wareham and England’s Charlie Dean tied at seventh with 704, West Indies’s Afy Fletcher at eighth with 702, and South Africa’s Nonkululeko Mlaba rounding out the top ten with 696.
Among all top-ranked bowlers, Sophie Ecclestone still holds the highest career-best rating of 802, achieved against Australia in 2023.
