In a big achievement, PTI’s Sehat Sahulat Card has been featured in a prestigious international medical journal named The Lancet.
According to the details, The Lancet published an article titled,” Sehat Sahulat: A social health justice policy leaving no one behind” where the success of the program, especially in the KPK region, was talked about.
The article highlighted the progress of the Sehat Sahulat Program (SSP) and also noted that there are still opportunities for improvement. Nevertheless, the article called the investments made in health care coverage “laudable”.
“Despite some challenges with the SSP, Pakistan’s recent investments in healthcare coverage are laudable, especially when considering that much wealthier countries have not been able to achieve this sort of coverage for their populations,” the article said.
