Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative 9 (FII9), presented under the theme “The Key to Prosperity: Unlocking New Frontiers of Growth”. The summit brings together global leaders, investors, policymakers, and innovators to explore investment, sustainability, and growth opportunities.
Sharif will lead a high-level Pakistani delegation, including the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, the Finance Minister, the Information Minister, and senior special assistants. This engagement signals Pakistan’s renewed push towards economic diplomacy and attracting foreign investment.
During his stay, the Prime Minister plans to hold meetings with Saudi leadership and major international investors. Talks will emphasize deepening cooperation in trade, energy, human resource development, and tech-enabled growth. Pakistan aims to showcase its investment potential and readiness to engage in sustainable development partnerships.
