PM Shehbaz hails Ireland decision to recognise Palestine. He stated, “I spoke to Prime Minister Simon Harris, Republic of Ireland last evening to express my deep admiration for the recent decision taken by his government to recognise the state of Palestine”. In this telephonic call, he acknowledged this step taken by Ireland sets precedent for other nations to follow. It can play a vital role in advancing the Palestinian cause and becomes a message hope for people in Gaza.
In addition to this, the premier also expressed his hope that some level of attention and measures will be taken to address Kashmir. The terror attacks on people of Kashmir and the land itself remain a point of dispute between India and Pakistan to date. On multiple forums, Pakistan correlates the brutalisation of people to what happens in Kashmir.
