After enormous appreciation of the Hockey team by significant members of the state, PM has further devised a policy. This policy is particularly followed by the outstanding performance of the National Team in Sultan Azlan Shah Cup. Earlier, the PM invited all members of the unit to an event in order to acknowledge their efforts. CM Punjab, Maryam Nawaz also rewarded the team with a cash prize of 30 million as appreciation. These efforts to recognise the striving of athletes has however not yet halted.
On Thursday, PM Shehbaz Sharif gave a directive to formulate a policy to employ athletes. This employment will particularly be through different departments ensure their financial security and promote sports in the country. He appointed Rana Mashhood who is the chairman of the PM’s youth program to personally to monitor the application of this policy within one week.
