PM Imran to include more Development schemes in PSDP

According to reports, prime minister Imran Khan on Friday stressed the need for inclusion of more development schemes in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) to create jobs and run the wheels of the economy.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan emphasized incorporating new development projects in the PSDP to help generate economic activity and create employment opportunities,” said a press release issued by the PM Office.
Presiding over a meeting on the recommendations about the PSDP for the next financial year, the prime minister directed the authorities concerned to finalize the proposals till the next meeting in this regard.
The meeting was attended by federal Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin, Planning and Development Minister Asad Umar, Minister for Industries Khusro Bakhtiar, Special Assistant to the PM Dr. Waqar Masood, and senior government officials.
