At a review meeting on the progress of National Highway Authority’s construction projects, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif directed that the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway project be started soon.
He also ordered the earliest possible start to work on the Thaha Kot-Rai Kot Section, Babusar Tunnel, and Khuzdar Kuchlak Road of the Karakoram Highway. Noting that the country cannot afford further delays in development projects, the Prime Minister stressed the need for more transparency in the awarding of contracts for projects.

The Prime Minister said development journey in the last four years was halted due to criminal negligence.
The Prime Minister asked the concerned quarters to get assistance from Pakistani embassies for verification of international companies.
