Khusro Bakhtyar, Federal Minister for Industries and Production, directed the officials of the petroleum division. The division will ensure the supply of RLNG/gas to fertiliser plants. Because they need to meet the total target of local production of urea fertiliser. And also to fulfill the demand of urea fertiliser during the coming “rabi” sowing season.
Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyar, Federal Minister for Industries and Production, held the consultative meeting. Khusroo told 3.2 MMT is the projected requirement of urea fertiliser around for rabi season 2021-22. Domestic production can fulfill the total urea demand this season.
He said that petroleum division would ensure the timely availability of fertiliser to farmers and enhance the agricultural output to meet the requirement of food crops in the country.
