Pakistan’s Sufi Music Star Abida Parveen has released Sufi Song for the first time with Punjabi Folk singer Naseebo Lal in Coke Studio Season 14. The first song of the season “Tu Jhoom”, features icons Abida Parveen and Naseebo Lal. In the recently released track, Xulfi uses his musical sense to create an atypical pairing so natural in a way it wasn’t done before. “I always like to bring an element of surprise, expected things have short lives,” he said.

Tu Jhoom is a hypnotically nostalgic song. The former EP frontman defines it as the most honest representation of his journey. He developed the narrative of the song after realising he needed to own the turmoil within himself, playing the groove on an instrument. The humming would become the chorus on repeat.
