Earlier, the Ruet-i-Hilal Committee confirmed that Eidul Azha will be observed in Pakistan on May 27 after the Zilhaj moon was sighted on Sunday.
Moon sighting reports were received from Karachi, various cities of Sindh, Mardan, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and other regions of the country.
Eidul Azha, celebrated on the 10th of Zilhaj, marks the completion of Haj and commemorates the spirit of sacrifice, one of the significant traditions in Islam.
