Saudi Arabia Launches Early Package Selection for Hajj 2026 Pilgrims
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has initiated the early package preference phase for the 2026 Hajj season, allowing pilgrims from countries under the Direct Hajj Program to explore and shortlist their preferred Hajj service packages ahead of the official booking period.
Details of the Nusuk Hajj Preference Phase
Through the Nusuk Hajj platform, prospective pilgrims can compare various Hajj packages based on factors such as service levels, features, and pricing. The ministry permits selecting up to five preferred options per applicant, facilitating a smoother final booking process.
The platform offers several digital capabilities designed to enhance user experience, including:
- Side-by-side package comparisons
- Popularity indicators reflecting trending packages
- Ability to place deposits in instalments via a digital wallet
- Access to an officially approved list of service providers
Guidance for Pilgrims
Eligible pilgrims are strongly encouraged to register or update their profiles on the Nusuk Hajj system, verifying that all personal details and supporting documents are accurate. Additionally, applicants planning to undertake Hajj with family members under the same booking are advised to include them in their application to accelerate approval procedures.
The ministry emphasized that Nusuk Hajj remains the only official platform for arranging Hajj services within the countries participating in the Direct Hajj Program and cautioned against engaging with unauthorized agencies or individuals.
Ensuring Integrity and Proper Booking Channels
All bookings and deposit payments must be completed solely through the Nusuk Hajj platform to maintain procedural transparency and protect pilgrims’ rights throughout the process.
This announcement specifically applies to countries covered under the Direct Hajj Program. In other nations, Hajj arrangements continue to be handled by duly authorized entities in accordance with respective national regulations.
About the Direct Hajj Program
The Direct Hajj Program is an initiative by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah that facilitates a streamlined digital booking process for Muslims residing in countries with minority Muslim populations and without official Hajj missions. Through this program, pilgrims can secure packages without relying on external intermediaries.
