Top venture capitalists such as Kleiner Perkins, 20VC, Prosus, First Round Capital, Gobi Partners, Shorooq Partners, Defy, 500 Startups, Wavemaker Partners, Next Billion Ventures, and others are capitalizing on the opportunity to invest in Pakistan’s strong business models, low-interest rates, and growing purchasing power. Paklaunch is keen to provide high-return investment possibilities to worldwide VCs through their digital meeting for investors and companies.

With one success story after another, Pakistani startups are quickly rising and attracting international attention. On September 8, 2021, Paklaunch, a major organization that makes breakthroughs for Pakistani entrepreneurs throughout the world, will host a virtual conference titled “Pakistani Startups – The Next Big Thing.”

According to Aly Fahd, Founder of Paklaunch, this is only the beginning of something big:

“We are thrilled to provide global VCs the chance to invest in Pakistani companies through our platform.” We have already effectively assisted in the investment of over USD 7 million and aim to continue to be catalysts in this ecosystem.” The conference is made possible thanks to the assistance of JS Bank Limited, the conference’s platinum sponsor.

At the conference, leading global VCs and experts will explore the secrets underlying the world’s rising interest in Pakistani companies. “As Pakistan’s top platform for connecting investors, entrepreneurs, and professionals, Paklaunch seeks not only to support Pakistani companies but also to assist global VCs in finding the appropriate startup to invest in,” Aly adds.

Even after COVID-19, Pakistan’s entrepreneurial environment has grown, fueled by rising mobile penetration and the world’s biggest, youngest populace seeking lifestyle enhancements. The country’s startup scene has already attracted the attention of the country’s biggest venture capitalists, including First Round Capital, Prosus, Kleiner Perkins, and Gobi Partners. Paklaunch is dedicated to improve the startup environment and advocate for it on a global scale.

Paklaunch’s virtual conference “Pakistani Startups – The Next Big Thing” is for anybody interested in learning about, networking with, or participating in the local startup ecosystem. The conference’s platinum sponsor is JS Bank Limited. It is free for all interested parties and will take place on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
