Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said Pakistan is committed to the CPEC’s high-quality development and looks forward to expediting significant projects and industry relocation to Pakistan, particularly in the CPEC Special Economic Zones.
In a virtual conversation with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, he praised the CPEC’s transformative impact on Pakistan’s infrastructure, energy, industry, socio-economic growth, and improvement in people’s livelihoods.
The Foreign Minister expressed Pakistan’s firm resolve to arrest and bring to justice the perpetrators of the terrorist attack at Karachi University, which killed three Chinese teachers.
Bilawal Zardari gave thanks to his Chinese counterpart for China’s continuing support for Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, independence, and national development, and reaffirmed Pakistan’s full support for China on all topics of mutual interest.
