Meta's widely used messaging app, WhatsApp, has introduced a new feature allowing iOS users to log in using their email addresses. This feature comes in handy when users encounter temporary difficulties in receiving the usual 6-digit login code via SMS.

According to a report from WABetaInfo, a reliable source for WhatsApp updates, the 23.24.70 update for iOS on the App Store includes this feature. While the official changelog lacks detailed information, the report confirms the widespread rollout of the new capability.

To access this feature, iOS users need to update their WhatsApp to the latest version. After the update, users can navigate to WhatsApp Settings > Account to activate the service, where they will be prompted to add their email address.

As of now, there is no specified date for the launch of this feature for Android users, leaving them awaiting the update from Meta regarding this convenient login option.
