New driving license centre in Lahore will offer 24/7 services

Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) will set up a new state-of-the-art driving license centre at the Manawan Traffic Police Lines, where they will offer their services 24 hours a day.

The Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) of Lahore, Muntazir Mehdi announced this on February 8th.

Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) decided to keep the centre operational around the clock, after the IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan granted the approval.

Moreover, The Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) of Lahore, Muntazir Mehdi said that:

“They have intended the centre to be a modern facility for the issuance of driving licenses. The new driving centre will issue driving licenses 24/7 for the convenience of the locals.”

Moreover, Motorists in need of renewed licenses or students in need of learner’s permits can download the Rasta mobile App. It allows you to book appointments at their nearest licensing centres.

Driving License Test in Lahore

Further, There are 3 driving license branches operating in the city. And they offer online pre-appointment services for getting driving license. After getting online appointment a person has to visit his selected branch with original CNIC.

The centre will issue permanent driving license to the person with leaner driving license, after going through MCQs online test. MCQ Test consists 25 questions out of which the person should choose 18 correct answers in order to proceed further i.e. physical driving test.

Furthermore, There is no chance of tampering this online MCQs test as applicant tick the correct answer by himself in 20 minutes time and submit the same as he completes the test. The computer screen shows the result, right after the online submission. This test is about meaning of different traffic signs.

Moreover, The physical test is the ultimate test for drivers in order to get the license. The traffic officer asks person to drive in different routes without touching the surrounding cones.
