Ishaq Dar, FBR chairman hold meeting to discuss budget proposal

Senator Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister, and the Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) met to discuss budget ideas for the Federal Budget 2023-24.

According to the state news agency, Ishaq Dar stated that the government is committed to ensuring that the new budget offers economic prosperity to all sectors of the economy and that resources are dispersed evenly across various sectors.

He made the remarks while presiding over a meeting on budget proposals given by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Chairman of the FBR, Asim Ahmad, provided a detailed presentation on budgetary ideas for the Federal Budget 2023-24, which were thoroughly debated.

The Finance Minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to delivering a budget that is both business and people-friendly.
