With more than 50 people on the flight, an Indonesian Airliner lost contact after take off from Jakarta. The airliner said to be en route to Pontianak, from the West Kalimantan province, as per the reports shared by the lcoal media.
FlightRadar24 – A reliable tracking service took onto twitter and tweeted that the Flight SJ182 of the Indonesian Airliner – Sriwijaya Air lost altitude within minutes. The loss in altitude is reported to be 10000 Ft within 1 minute by the tracking service just after 4 minutes of departure from the Capital City.
The aircraft – A Boeing 737-500 is reported to be 27-years-old as per the details of registration and tracking data. The airline explained in the statement that they are still gathering more information of the flight before making any official statement.
