During his telephonic talk with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang today, he emphasized this resolve.

Shehbaz Sharif highlighted his desire to learn from the experience of Chinese authorities who have remained essential in the establishment of SEZs in their provinces while recalling Pakistan-China sister-city partnerships.

He also stated his commitment to cooperating with China with renewed zeal and enthusiasm, particularly on programs of strategic importance to both nations, such as the ML-1 project.

The Prime Minister strongly condemned the terrorist assault and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to conducting a thorough investigation, arresting the criminals, and bringing them to justice in line with our laws.

He reiterated that the safety, security, and protection of all Chinese people working in Pakistan on economic projects and institutions are of high importance to Islamabad.

The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation to China for its unwavering support for Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national development, and reaffirmed his government’s unwavering support for China on all issues of mutual concern.
