Ahsan Iqbal, Minister of Planning and Development, has stated that the government plans to build sports centers around the country in collaboration with the provincial governments.
He said the government is establishing a special program for youth in the next fiscal year budget while presiding over a meeting in Islamabad on Saturday to evaluate initiatives for youth and sports development.
The PSDP would include projects to provide technical training and promote a startup environment for youngsters, he added.
The Minister said Pakistan Olympic Association should be held accountable for poor performance in the Olympic Games.
